Our story

About me: I'm a small town potter from Missouri that loves to play in the clay. I gained my knowledge through Southwest Baptist University. While earning a (B.s) in art with an infuses in 3-d studio art. Focusing mainly on production pottery. I love to change things up and learn new ideas.

About my business: I started Matthews Pottery and art in the summer of 2020, i had just Graduated from SBU and had a dream. With a small loan from my parents i was able to buy my first kiln which got me started. I then began looking for small shows and event to start selling at. my business has grown both in, in person shows and online through my social media pages. i now sell both at person shows like fall festivals and online through Instagram and Facebook.
